Char Prado

Charinale Elorta Prado, NP-BC

Charinale was born and raised in the Philippines before moving to California with her family. She earned both a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Adult and Geriatrics Nurse Practitioner from California State University, Los Angeles.

Charinale worked as a registered nurse for eight years before returning to school. She pursued a career as a nurse practitioner to make an even greater impact on the health of her community. Before specializing in oncology, she worked in internal medicine, hospice care and palliative care.

Charinale has a clinical interest in breast, prostate and colorectal cancers. As a former palliative care nurse practitioner, she is also passionate about helping patients manage the symptoms and side effects of cancer treatment. She believes compassion is an essential part of healthcare.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, cooking, baking, and participating in her church.
